Straight answers about AI visibility
Nostimates collects AI answers and search results for applications you build. Here is what the API provides, how collections work, and what happens after you request access.
Using the API
- What does Nostimates return?
- Provider-specific JSON with collected chatbot answers and available sources, Google Search results and AI Overview data where present, and Google News results. Your application calculates derived measurements such as mention rates or sentiment.
- How do I collect and download results?
- Submit a prompt and targets to POST /v1/crawl-jobs using an account token. Poll job status or receive a signed webhook, then download the completed result through the result endpoint. The public quickstart includes the full workflow.
- Why repeat a prompt?
- Answers can vary between collections. The optional repeats field requests additional runs, which you can analyse yourself. Repeat collection does not automatically produce a confidence interval or a guarantee of statistical independence.
Coverage and reliability
- Which targets are supported?
- Google Search, Google News, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. Google AI Overviews are returned within Google Search when present; other engines discussed in educational guides are not offered collection targets.
- Is country targeting guaranteed?
- The optional country field controls best-effort routing. Availability depends on the target and provider, and routing does not guarantee localised output. There is no separate language request field.
- What happens when a collection fails?
- A job can contain successful and failed runs. Inspect counts and result records before analysing the data. A failed run is not evidence that a brand was absent.
Access and commercial questions
- How do I get access?
- Request API access with your name and email. The team follows up manually about approval, limits, pricing and secure key provisioning. The form does not create an account or return a token.
- Is a hosted dashboard included?
- This offering is a collection API. Your application provides dashboards, reporting, client access and any scheduled workflows.
- How much does access cost?
- Tell us your targets and approximate volume. Pricing and applicable limits are discussed directly before you start.
- Can I use the data in a client product?
- Describe your intended use during onboarding so the team can discuss applicable terms, including any attribution, redistribution or confidentiality requirements.
