AI visibility tracking for SEO teams
SEO teams use Nostimates to track whether their brand is cited in AI answers the same way they already track whether it ranks — citation share per engine, benchmarked against competitors, on the same query sets. See it in a dashboard, or pull it into the reporting stack you already run.
Four jobs this actually does
Answer 'are we losing clicks to AI?' with data
Pair your impression decline with citation share on the same query set. If AI Overviews cite you on a third of your head terms and a competitor on two thirds, the conversation stops being speculative.
How we track AI Overviews →Track the engines, not just the SERP
AI Overviews and AI Mode disagree on the same query more often than they agree. Track them separately, plus ChatGPT, Perplexity and Copilot, before you conclude anything about a trend.
See all twelve engines →Fits how you already report
Log into the dashboard, or pull the same citation share, competitive benchmarks and per-answer evidence into Looker, BigQuery or a spreadsheet. We don't ask you to change tools.
Dashboard or data →Prove content work moved something
Baseline before you publish, then watch how the answers change after. Because we measure the pattern across many samples rather than one screenshot, you can tell a real move from noise.
Why one reading isn't enough →Rank-tracking assumptions don't survive AI answers
A rank is stable enough to check once. An AI answer is not: ask the same question three times and you can get three different citation sets. Any tool that shows you one reading and calls it a position is showing you a coin flip with a decimal point.
So we measure the pattern, not a single reading — every prompt is asked many times, and every answer is kept, so any number traces straight back to the text that produced it. See it in the dashboard, or pull the raw data into your own tools.
Where the line is
- Does this replace our rank tracker?
- No. It measures a different thing. Keep your rank tracker for classic results and use Nostimates for citation share inside AI answers; most teams report them side by side.
- Can we track competitors as well as our own brand?
- Yes — that's the point. Add the brands you compete with and every measurement covers each of them on the same questions, so the comparison is always apples to apples.
- Which markets can we measure?
- We collect each engine in your target country and language, so any market Google serves is available. The gated engines — including the Chinese and Korean ones — have coverage documented per engine.
