Research considerations

When studying conversational search, record the interface and conversation turn. A follow-up answer is a different observation from the first response. Do not combine AI Mode observations with Google AI Overviews as if they were one dataset.

Any research on this interface needs its own data source and methodology. The supported Nostimates targets are Google Search, Google News, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.
