Cadence

Cadence is the frequency at which a prompt set is resampled — daily, weekly or monthly — and it directly determines both credit consumption and how quickly change is detectable.

Daily cadence on a small head-term set usually beats monthly cadence on a large set, because change detection depends on having enough observations either side of an event.

Match cadence to decision speed: if nobody acts on the data weekly, weekly collection is a cost without a purpose.
