Entity salience
Entity salience is the strength of association between an entity and a subject area, as inferred from how consistently they co-occur across trusted sources.
High salience is what makes a brand appear in category answers it was never explicitly asked about.
It is built off-site more than on-site: consistent third-party description beats repeated self-description.
