Data freshness
Data freshness is the age of the underlying samples behind a reported number, as distinct from the date the report was generated.
Cached or interpolated figures presented as current are a common failure in AI visibility tooling. A dashboard rendering today does not mean the data was collected today.
Every number should carry a collection timestamp, and cadence should be a customer decision rather than a vendor default.
