Long-tail query
A long-tail query is a longer, more specific prompt with lower demand and less competition, where a brand can realistically become a consistent citation.
AI answers reward specificity: longer prompts retrieve narrower source sets, which makes a niche authority far more likely to be cited.
For new or small brands, long-tail prompts are usually where measurable AEO progress starts.
