Entity
An entity is a uniquely identifiable person, organisation, product or concept in a knowledge representation, as opposed to a keyword string.
AI answers reason over entities, so brand disambiguation matters: if two companies share a name, the engine may attribute your competitor's attributes to you.
Encyclopedic and structured references are the cheapest way to establish an entity clearly, which is why Wikipedia and Baidu Baike presence correlate so strongly with mention rates.
